Keshav, a prodigious chartered accountant, embarked on his professional journey at the age of 21. With 5 years of experience in leading audit firms, he solidified his expertise in financial audits and accounting. His entrepreneurial spirit steered him toward the role of consulting CFO for India’s top startups, many of which achieved successful exits through acquisitions by major corporations.
Following his passion for startup culture and finance, Keshav founded Vananam with a dual mission – to facilitate fundraising for startups and to democratize investments in startups, thus empowering retail investors to build wealth.
An M.S. University of Baroda engineering graduate and IIM Bangalore alumnus, Mahendra Rathod brings over 15 years of entrepreneurial and corporate experience to Vananam. His strategic finesse in corporate finance and operations have been honed through his significant work at Reliance Industries, Aditya Birla Minacs, Dell, and Cognizant.
Transitioning from the corporate realm to startup mentorship, Mahendra proved himself instrumental in fundraising, strategy, and operational guidance across the health tech, insurtech, and IT sectors. Outside the office, he indulges his passion for trekking through TrekNomads, a ‘trek-cation’ company that nurtures a sense a community and channels raised funds for the education of rural mountain villages
