Keshav, a prodigious chartered accountant, embarked on his professional journey at the age of 21. With 5 years of experience in leading audit firms, he solidified his expertise in financial audits and accounting. His entrepreneurial spirit steered him toward the role of consulting CFO for India’s top startups, many of which achieved successful exits through acquisitions by major corporations.
Following his passion for startup culture and finance, Keshav founded Vananam with a dual mission – to facilitate fundraising for startups and to democratize investments in startups, thus empowering retail investors to build wealth.
An M.S. University of Baroda engineering graduate and IIM Bangalore alumnus, Mahendra Rathod brings over 15 years of entrepreneurial and corporate experience to Vananam. His strategic finesse in corporate finance and operations have been honed through his significant work at Reliance Industries, Aditya Birla Minacs, Dell, and Cognizant.
Transitioning from the corporate realm to startup mentorship, Mahendra proved himself instrumental in fundraising, strategy, and operational guidance across the health tech, insurtech, and IT sectors. Outside the office, he indulges his passion for trekking through TrekNomads, a ‘trek-cation’ company that nurtures a sense a community and channels raised funds for the education of rural mountain villages
Anand Nair, with a track record spanning 16 years, is a distinguished investment banker and international trade consultant. His career is illuminated with remarkable work in project financing, capital advisory, and equity investments with HSBC and Barclays. His contributions have enhanced business growth in ASEAN and GCC markets.
Anand’s engineering and MBA credentials underpin his expertise in aiding corporate expansions and trade. At the helm of Mactrade Capital, he specializes in cross-border transactions for the agricultural, FMCG, and cosmetics sectors. A multilingual strategist, Anand shares keen insights with multiple Chambers of Commerce, thus helping companies thrive in the UAE’s dynamic business landscape.
With over a decade of experience, Joshua Gautham evolved from software development to a business management expert. His proficiency in rewards, communication, e-commerce, SaaS, and CRM has shaped a diverse professional portfolio, complemented by his skill in technology-driven problem-solving and operational efficiency.
In his career, Joshua has adeptly managed large teams and orchestrated multi-stakeholder strategic projects, showcasing his leadership in complex, dynamic environments. His roles at Xoxoday and a startup acquired by Capillary Technologies, coupled with his Directorship at Kaleyra, acquired by Tata Communications, illustrate his capability to guide global corporate initiatives.
